Hello there. My name is Grant Moore and my excuse for my dark sense of humor is that I’m an artist.
I grew up in Dallas, TX where my parents were so so delighted to discover my love of comedy. Like most other professional filmmakers I started making movies with my friends for fun until I stupidly listened to someone who said I should do it as a career.
I attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas where I studied film and joined TCU's improv comedy troupe Senseless Acts of Comedy. I was also a part of the TCU Student Filmmakers Association. I served as president for four semesters in both organizations, which is important to note because like Thanos, it cost me everything.
After undergrad I attended Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University in Orange, CA. I earned an MFA in Film Production with a emphasis in Directing. For my thesis project I wrote and directed Pickle, which has seen play and awards from festivals all over the world and was nominated for a Student Emmy in 2019. It's a heart-warming story about a boy and his dead dog, truly on brand for me.
Please look around my site and don't hesitate to contact me in something tickles your fancy. I need the attention to keep my ego afloat.
