WRITER + DIRECTOR
about
Grant Moore is an award-winning writer and director, who specializes in creating heartwarming stories with a uniquely dark sense of humor.
Originally hailing from Dallas, TX, Grant began producing weekly sketch comedy videos in undergrad with TCU's Senseless Acts of Comedy. Grant went on to attend Dodge College at Chapman University for an MFA in Directing. There he wrote and directed the thesis film Pickle, a touching story about a boy and his dead dog, something truly on brand.
Grant's films and sketches have played at over 50+ festivals across the world and won dozens of accolades. Recent highlights include ISFVF in Beijing, Rhode Island International Film Festival and Comic Con in San Diego. Oh and he picked up a Student Emmy Award nomination for Pickle (they've got a sick sense of humor over there at the Television Academy).
In his free time, Grant creates sketch comedy with his group, Safety Patrol, who occasionally perform around Los Angeles--mostly to win the approval of their moms.
Most recently, Grant has been working in the writers' room of the iCarly revival, on Paramount+ for the past two seasons.
